This decade London has seen the emergence of two very special platforms: Generation W and Asian Tones, which have equally platformed 100's of musicians, with 1000s attending their shows. This year Asian Tones is going national for the first time with partnerships at the likes of Liverpool Sound City and live shows in Birmingham and beyond, while Generation W is focusing international with releases planned with artists in Brazil, New York, Egypt, India, South Africa and more.
For one special night on THURSDAY 10TH JULY from 8PM, Asian Tones and Generation W are partnering together in their home of London to put on a special showcase of unique women in music in London with Asian heritage. This show will happen at the historic 93 Feet East music venue off Brick Lane, an area itself that is a leading voice of historic Asian culture in London.
Performing at this special one off night will be the future of the British music industry, with artists from different genres ranging from rock to RnB to folk, entertaining a crowd of people from different backgrounds, united in one space in a way that only London can do.
Artists performing on the night include California born indie artist Bekah Bossard, actress and RnB and Jazz inspired musician Diya Sohi, British Indian Rock musician Maya Lakhani and her band, and the piano led Manpreet Kundi
For every digital ticket sold before 10th July you are entitled to a free digital copy of Urban Kingdom's book 'Hip-Hopulation', the first in history to interview Hip-Hop artists from every living continent in the world, and features leading artists from Asia including Ez Mil from The Philippines who is signed to Eminem and features on his latest album, and also Prabh Deep, a number one charting Hip-Hop artist from India.
