THIS IS A DIGITAL FREE ENTRY TICKET FOR HIP-HOPULATION x BRISTOL LAUNCH AT DEATH DISCO, 12 Saint Stephen's Street, Bristol BS1 1EL

FRIDAY 20th SEPTEMBER FROM 8PM.

WHEN ORDERING YOUR FIRST DRINK, SHOW YOUR TICKET TO BAR STAFF AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A FREE DIGITAL COPY OF HIP-HOPULATION WITHIN FIVE WORKING DAYS.

Hip-Hop was the hope within the dark streets of New York City in the 1970s, where people could unite, party and celebrate life within environments where people often didn't make it past 30. That same artform has just celebrated 50 years, making legends out of kids born into struggle, and we invite you to celebrate another year of Hip-Hop at the official
Bristol launch of Hip-Hopulation, a groundbreaking new book that interviews Hip-Hop artists from every living continent in the world.
Come down and party with us and listen to a unique soundtrack of music from artists in the book, such as from an artist from The Philippines who is featured on Eminem's latest album, an artist born in the Netherlands whose latest album is produced entirely by Scott Storch, the platinum producer of many club records such as 50 Cent 'Candy Shop' and Terror Squad 'Lean Back', leading artists from Africa, South America, Australia, India, LA, New York City, UK and more.

The upcoming event is completely free entry and when you buy a drink at the bar you will get a code for a free digital copy of the new Hip-Hopulation book which features 301 pages of inspiring interviews with people celebrating life in Hip-Hop after living through struggles such as war, illness, prison and much more, as they make music to inspire the world to keep dancing on.

Hip-Hopulation is produced by the British platform Urban Kingdom which has not only made music videos with Freddie Gibbs, Method Man, Ruff Ryders and more, but in 2017 produced the official music video to 'Late Nights & Heartbreak' for the Bristol band Hannah Williams & The Affirmations, that Jay-Z sampled on the title track to his last album 4.44 and so this is going to be a special night in Bristol to unite creative driven people in the city who celebrate life amongst the struggle we all face.
